How the Songbook Started

I have a musical theatre background, and somewhere along the way I figured out I could combine that with selling Tampa real estate. The first time I wrote a parody song for a listing, the home sold faster than we expected — and the buyer told me they remembered the listing because of the song. That's when I knew this wasn't a gimmick. Memorable beats forgettable every time.

Now every home I list in Tampa Bay gets its own original parody — written for that specific house, its quirks, its story. Some are funny. Some are sweet. All of them are 100% custom. The Songbook is where the best ones live, so you can hear what custom marketing actually sounds like.

🎵 Sweet Home of Mine

To the tune of: Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N' Roses

Home: Brand new construction in Wellswood — my home neighborhood.

The story: And yes, I'm a Wellswood resident myself, which made this one personal. This home rocked, so I picked a song that rocked: Guns N' Roses' Sweet Child O' Mine. A ballad that crosses generations, for a home built to be loved across decades.

🎵 All That Charm

To the tune of: All That Jazz from Chicago

Home: A 100-year-old Seminole Heights bungalow with original character and modern updates.

The story: This bungalow has been standing for a century — and it still has all the original character that makes Seminole Heights homes so beloved, plus thoughtful updates for modern living. Perfect for an Airbnb investor OR a family. I needed something theatrical to match the home's vintage soul — All That Jazz delivered.

🎵 Hit Me With Your Best Shot (In South Tampa)

To the tune of: Hit Me With Your Best Shot by Pat Benatar

Home: A high-end South Tampa home with serious swagger.

The story: This South Tampa home was gorgeous — and it deserved a song with some attitude. I wanted to appeal to buyers who'd appreciate a slightly older musical reference, so I went with Pat Benatar's Hit Me With Your Best Shot — pure 1980s confidence. The home rose to the challenge.

🎵 I Can See Myself Living

To the tune of: Flowers by Miley Cyrus

Home: A fully renovated Seminole Heights home.

The story: This Seminole Heights home had been thoughtfully renovated — taken from forgotten to fully restored. The song needed to capture the idea that a home can be loved into being better than it was, and Miley Cyrus's Flowers (with its self-loving energy) was the right match. Renovation as self-care.

🎵 My Favorite Things About 324 Haya

To the tune of: My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music

Home: An income-producing Airbnb sold with all its rental features intact.

The story: This home was already operating as an Airbnb, so the sale was really an investment opportunity for someone ready to step into a turn-key rental. I wanted the song to inventory everything that made this place a money-maker — and My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music was the obvious vehicle. Investor-friendly Julie Andrews vibes.
